Leverkusen | November 04, 2009: New transport division head gives a positive résumé

Frédéric Wanin has been responsible for the transport sector at Chemion Logistik since May 1, 2009. Before joining the Chemion team French-born Frédéric Wanin had held numerous management positions at transport and logistics companies. After five months in office, the new transport division head gives a positive résumé: Thanks to the great commitment of the Chemion staff we have been able to initiate various projects aiming at a reduction of costs, an increase in capacity utilization and the generation of new business in road and rail transport as well as in distribution. For example, the rail sector has been restructured and united in Dormagen in late August, a contract on the take-over of shunting services has been concluded with another railway company, railway equipment has been sublet and the acquisition of new customers has been pushed in close cooperation with the sales and distribution division.
