The use of industrial trucks is part of the daily business with all different sizes of companies. Individual scope of services and freely-definable service depth

However, even more than this: As a specialist for hazardous goods handling Chemion also uses the fork lift trucks itself every day in order to be able to competently and safely provide warehouse and transshipment services for its customers from the chemical or chemical-related industry or other location-related services. It is particularly this experience from the practical operation of the industrial trucks from which companies can profit with the range of services of Chemion in the fork lift truck fleet management. As the service provider knows the parameters, which are decisive in the daily business for a cost-effective use of the appliance. Accordingly the customer cannot just choose between the various financing forms, such as hire purchase, leasing or full service leasing or decide upon a short- or long-term rental. Even with all other services he can freely determine the scope and the depth of the services and combine these in line with his needs. This way each company receives an individual solution package for its industrial truck fleet that gives it the maximum benefit in its special situation.

For a plus in flexibility

Always the right industrial truck at the right place – this is the requirement which determines the range of services of Chemion and which places the focus on the factor “flexibility of the customer“. Companies often need fork lift trucks at short notice as they react to changes in the market and for example want to compensate for peak production periods. They profit in several ways from the offer of the short-term rental of Chemion: on the one hand they can avoid investments in the special appliance and therefore spare the liquidity of their company. At the same time the customer can use the rental appliance in line with his needs for only one day or keep it in use for up to twelve months. No matter which term he chooses – the rental appliance will be made available to him within 48 hours. The company does not need to deal with services, such as maintenances and inspections. Chemion assumes responsibility for these services in own workshops and with trained personnel. The modular set-up of the service portfolio provides a further advantage for companies: Should the customer’s needs change the services can be adjusted flexibly and rental appliances exchanged if this is necessary owing to changed production flows or stacking or warehouse heights in the company. The scope of services can also be extended step by step upon request. This way a customer can for example decide to use additional services besides the leasing of individual appliances in order to further reduce his administrative work.

Holistic consideration for maximum benefit

The practice has shown: companies often initially rent individual fork lift trucks. Step by step they then shift their focus from the individual appliance to the holistic approach of their fork lift truck fleet and decide to outsource all flows in their vehicle fleet and have this organized by external specialists. As an experienced vehicle fleet provider Chemion also supports its customers here and together with them analyzes the stock and the objectives of the company. When the exact requirements have been determined the respective modules from procurement to financing and to maintenance and control of equipment can be integrated into the customer concept and compiled to form a round overall solution.
