Through their strategically favorable location our four container terminals offer the best pre-requisites for your logistical requirements. The plants are among the largest warehouse and transshipment terminals for hazardous goods in Germany.
Bimodal transshipment terminals
The best connection to road and rail, short routes to production, workshops and service facilities – our bimodal warehouse and transshipment terminals in the CHEMPARKS Leverkusen and Dormagen have a total of 720 storage places.
Our bimodal container warehouse in Leverkusen alone offers you generous possibilities with 340 places for hazardous goods for 20 tank and box containers and an annual container transshipment of approx. 20,000 TEU. We take care of qualified storage of materials of the VCI storage classes 3, 6.1a, 6.1b, 8, 9-13 and water hazard classes 1-3 as well as waste in Leverkusen and Dormagen.
Trimodal transshipment terminal
Through our trimodal container terminal in Leverkusen you can also flexibly integrate water routes into your transports. The direct connection to the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp enables the access to international procurement and sales markets.
A portal crane with 40 to load-bearing capacity and a 40-meter arm, with which new generations of container ships can also be served, ensures the efficient container transshipment in the chemical port. The transshipment capacity is around 30,000 TEU per year. In addition to the 460 storage places for hazardous goods 600 storage places are available in the empty container warehouse / depot.
