A Terminal on the Water with Trimodal Possibilities
Our terminal at the port is a trimodal hub that is connected to railroads, roads, and waterways. Daily inland ships ensure a direct and highly economical transport between the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp, and the trimodal container facility with its 460 stock rooms. The storage facility for empty containers with 600 stock rooms is also operated through the port’s container terminal.

The installation of a new full gantry crane at the Leverkusen chemical port increases the efficiency of container loading operations. The portainer has a 40-meter gibbet that allows the loading & unloading even of large modern container ships. Its annual capacity: 30,000 TEU.
