The bimodal facility which is about 7.000 square meters in size is specifically designed for the storage of dangerous substances and equipped with the latest RFID technology.   January 18, 2007: Chemion Logistik has laid the cornerstone for a new container terminal in the Chemical Park Dormagen, Germany, creating the prerequisites for further expansion of its container business. In the months to come, 360 storing sites for 20’ box and tank containers will be developed on the hazardous goods site, sized about 7,000 square meters. In compliance with the highest safety standards, the terminal is designed to serve the needs of the growing container business in the chemical industry and will be available to both on-site and off-site companies. more

  September 13, 2006: On September 13, 2006, Chemion Logistik GmbH will inaugurate its new container terminal at Bayer Chemiepark Leverkusen, Germany, which will increase its storage capacities at the site to 1,400 TEU (Twenty-feet Equivalent Units). The empty container storage facility features transponder technology, which was specially designed for the requirements of the terminal. more
